Maria enjoys her bicycle (01/01/98)
(Santa gave her a bicycle)
The night of Christmas '97, Santa left a bicycle under our Christmas tree. This is - the - bicycle Maria could not forget to touch and play with whenever she went to nearby K-mart with her mother. She was so much in love with the bicycle that her mother always had difficult time leaving K-mart by dragging Maria away from the bicycle. Of course Santa would not miss this Maria's strong desire. And Maria has been so good that she can now take care of her going to a rest room and has freed her mother from tedious diaper change work. She deserves for the bicycle.
So she did get the bicycle on the Christmas day. But that stupid Santa left only the bicycle and did not think about the proper riding gears such as a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves. That is why the bicycle was sitting there in the garage but she could not enjoy it until today. The same stupid father is off from the work today so he went to the K-mart and got all the necessary riding gears. And finally Maria enjoys her bicycle.
She was a bit afraid of riding it outside since she was only used to ride it inside the K-mart on the smooth floor. But soon she picked up her pace and started enjoying the bike. However stupid the Santa was, she is now glad he gave her the most wanted present.
She says "Mommy, akae!".
"Akae" is a word she made up with "abunai" in Japanese and "se cae" in Spanish.
"abunai" means "dangerous" and "se cae" means "I am falling".
